NEIS Payments
There are 26 payments for NEIS each year and the two months that contain 3 fortnightly payments change from time to time.
Mission Australia have advised that for the next year the months that contain 3 payments are:
March 2012: 1st, 15th& 29th
August 2012: 2nd, 16th& 30th
January 2013: 3rd, 17th& 31st
The new rate of NEIS Allowance is $475.00 per fortnight, or $12,348 p.a.
Check your drawings to make sure you have the correct annual figure.
The new NEIS Rental Assistance maximum payment is $115.20 per fortnight. This cuts out after 6 months after being on NEIS.
